North Main Street near State Route
City police will sit in the parking lot of the CheckMax behind the shrubs with RADAR pointing to the bridge over SC9/US521 overpass. Speed changes just before bridge from 45 to 35 MPH. Used to be a trap because the speed sign used to be obscured by a large magnolia tree. Right after I paid my fine the tree was trimmed back. Police will sit at the ChackMax with no pattern and can be there any day of the week.

Just so everyone knows the speed limit sign is again (as it has all of my 36 driving years) obstructed by a tree. My sister was stopped 40 years ago and I have never forgotten. Watch your speed.
