I was ticketed for 68 in a 55. I was doing 68, cruise control set, when the limit suddenly dropped to 55 and I was immediately lit up. I think the officers know there is an issue with the speed in that stretch of highway, which is why they set up just on the other side to catch unknowing drivers. It’s not marked well and it’s a very sudden change. Johnson City should be doing the right thing by marking the change better but instead sit and collect revenue. Shame on you, Johnson City!
