Northbound Hwy 1 at the Mar Monte entrance ramp
Sometimes they’ll sit at the gore point after dark, but usually they will be far up the entrance ramp, observing traffic for speeders. It’s a long gently sloping downhill, so they mostly get out-of-towners, because all the locals know about this trap and slow down before passing this point.
