Northbound leaving the center of town

Easy to coast over the speed limit.

As previously stated, their administrative practices are horrible. I was to call for the amount of my fine. I swear she said $118. I paid it promptly in August. In April, I received a summons to appear for failure to pay. Having the cancelled check I called to clear it up. I said my name and the case number. She asked asked whom the matter concerned.. I said my name again. She again whom the citation was for. Finally she apparently realized it was me. Then she started to tell me about the additional charge that I owed for not appearing. I had to interrupt her lecture to tell her that I had only gotten the summons two days prior and wanted to know why. Finally, after reviewing the records, she let me know that I had written the check for $118 and the fine was $180. I suppose her accent was the reason for the mix-up. Fortunately, I just have to pay the other $70. Trust me, there was absolutely no professionalism from her in either conversation. Definitely worth fighting, especially because it cost me 5 points in addition to the $180 and dealing with the "court".
