Northbound on Hanson Blvd after crossing the railroad tracks.
When going northbound on Hanson Blvd., and after passing the railroad tracks, be aware of Mr. Officer that sits in the Epiphany parking lot. Because of the trees and other obstructions, near the tracks and after, you don’t really see him until it’s tooooo late. The speed limit is 45mph, but I believe that between 3pm-5pm, it is 35mph.

I appreciate this speed monitored area for the children. The playground is quite close to the road. One thing to watch for is the speed changes rapidly from 45 - 30 within a quarter of a block. If you miss the speed signs, it may be too late. The one great thing they installed was the blinking sign when school is in session. It would be nice if they had another warning prior to the tracks - NOT to just avoid the tickets but for the children's sake. It's a common area for accidents with HEAVY event traffic coming in and out of Epiphany. It may be nice to add another light signal even though it's extremely close to the existing one. Epiphany is the one of the largest parishes/school in MN! (fact). It would be worth investing into a better traffic system and possibly eliminating police staff while protecting children volume of traffic. TY to those that slow down. You did it for my children as well.
