The speed limit on Oak Street is 20 mph, which seems really slow until you consider that it is a residential neighborhood and you shouldn’t be flying through there anyway. There are usually cops all throughtout that neighborhood because it is one of the town’s new "Zero Tolerance" zones for speeding. You shouldn’t be speeding through there anyway, but if you are, watch out – one day I drove home from work, and I saw three within a half mile stretch. Most of the officers are pretty nice (from my experiences with them), if you deserve to be let go, they’ll be fair.
