Oakleaf Village Pkwy @ Silverbluff Blvd
The Speed trap is up almost daily. Clay County Deputies sit at the entrance of Silver Bluff clocking cars traveling into Oakleaf Plantation on Oakleaf Village Pkwy. The Speed Limit is 35 MPH yet the police cars are the worse violators of speed in the area I was just passed this evening by a deputy at 60 in the posted 35. Please enter with care.

This place is ridiculous, I guess Clay County Deputies don't have enough to keep them busy so they need to run radar in a housing development. REALLY! I would like to know how many deaths or serious accidents have occured in this area due to speed. If they have time to run radar in a place like this then maybe we have too many deputies onduty and need to cut back. Lucky that these things can actually be changed STOP SPEED TRAPS by VOTING for Sheriff. The state of Florida needs to cut the amount of money departments can recieve from citations there should be a cap and anything over the cap 100% should go to the State of Florida. Citations are needed in area that have high accident and death rates, be smart and use your power wisely.
