Ocala Street near Tennessee Street

Tallahassee, FloridaFeb 27, 20080 Comments

Police love to hide all along northbound Ocala street between Tennessee and Tharpe, including school and apartment entrances and cross streets (like Continental). They like to use unmarked cars, including Impalas, as well as motorcycles. The posted speed on Ocala street is 35, although most traffic moves between 40 and 45. Ocala street also has many hills and downward slants, making it easy to accelerate unintentionally. I mostly see police on Ocala streetduring the middle of the day, between 10 am and 2 pm, although I have seen them later as well. I have never observed police watching southbound Ocala street.
