Oceanview Drive Newport Oregon
Just west of Wal Mart on Oceanview Drive. Is a 25mph zone leaving town to the north. Down hill straight going north. Worked by multiple police cars. $200 min. fine. No warnings, just tickets.

And at the bottom of that hill on Oceanview Drive is Agate Beach Wayside park. There are frequently families with children and people walking dogs in that area. There are also people crossing the street from the Holiday Inn and the main Agate Beack parking area to get to the ocean. It is quite appropriate for the speed limit there to be 25 MPH and for the Newport police to enforce this aggressively. If you want to drive faster then stay on 101.
