Baltimore County police and MD State Police sometimes sit either on Old Frederick Road or in the driveway at the top of the hill for the school. The speed limit is 25mph and they will pull you over if you so much as inch past 30mph. It’s a school zone although there are no crossing lights with speed limit signs which flash during school hours as in many other districts. They love to sit there when the school is closed too – such as holidays. I guess they figure people might speed if they think the school is closed.
