Old Henry Road near Gene Snyder / I-265

As you exit Gene Snyder Freeway (I-265) and travel East / North East on Old Henry Road (Approaching Lake Forest Subdivision), both marked and unmarked Louisville Metro Police sit alongside the roadway and in the small dead-end roads to the left and right on either side of the road. The speed limit is 45 and changes to 35 in the area. Be advised that most of the time, they will see you before you see them. Enforcement is most common in the afternoon / evening but I have seen them in the area at all hours of the day. If they pull you over they will give you a ticket.

Comments:
City police often sit in hidden spots. There are several inclines where cars typically speed up to climb without realizing it. As soon as you're over the incline, the police hit you due to your excellerated speed. Area has very little traffic which makes drivers more inclined to drive above the limit. Police know this and target this area.
