Heading east on old gorham rd. from gorham, just as you pass over the border into westbrook there is a VERY steep hill. You won’t have noticed it but there’s a tiny, faded speed limit sign changing the speed from 45 to 30. Right at the bottom of the hill sits an old cop in the most blatant speed trap I’ve ever seen. Even if you saw the sign for the change you’d have to be burning rubber to slow down to 30 fast enough while on that hill. PLus, you’re still on a major road – 30 is ridiculous and doens’t fit with the other speed limits on the road or in the area.
