Old US1 and US 690, Approaching Intersection from Carthage
This is an upslope leading toward a four-way intersection. The speed limit drops from 55 to 35. Police like to hide in select places beaming radar guns at drivers. The upslope causes a cruise control override from cancel or reset sometimes so that instead of slowing down a car accelerates. By the time a driver can slow down and correct, he or she will have been tracked for breaking the speed limit.
