On Balboa Blvd. from Burbank Blvd. up to the I-5 Overpass

Watch out for Balboa Blvd. in general, from the cities of Encino, Reseda and Granada Hills. The speed limit changes from Burbank Blvd going North from 35 to 40mph and back to 35mph around Sherman Way to Parthenia. In that area the officers work together going both directions to radio each other and catch the offender. Balboa changes to 40mph past Rinaldi and then to 45 about a 1.5 miles before you get to the I-5 Fwy, but where it is 45, most people are already going 50-55mph because of the hill and the easy tendancy to speed. I’ve gotten my only 2 tickets in 2 different places on this street in the last 15 years. Advice – Don’t go more than 5mph over the speed limit Anywhere on Balboa.

Comments:
I just wanted to say that I've lived in the Valley for the past four years, and I have a tendency to speed all over , mostly Balboa blvd, & I've never been pulled over yet, how ever I did once see a motor cycle cop giving some one a ticket, but only once..... Go figure! maybe it's just luck ha?
