Just recently officers from Rocky Ford PD set up @ the city limits sign and wrote my father a ticket for sppeding in a 35 construction zone. The officer wrote him for the speed he was doing in a normaly 55 zone not in the city limits as we live near there and are well aware of the integrity of these officers, I spoke with GDOT and the signs lowering the speed limit were orange and black advisory signs not enforceable. Just wanted to provide this info the anyone that got a ticket during this time, there was no construction going on it was finished. Not to mention they write the tickets based on what they clock you doing outside the city limits 45 zone. We are intending on persuing this futher. This is outright highway robbery with a badge.
