NC SHP is usually located on 540 facing West over interstate 70 near Briar Creek shooting radar/laser at traffic approaching from the rear.

Raleigh PD has been under the 540 overpass shooting laser at motorists approaching 540 on Hwy 70, and then using multiple chase cars to pull motorists after the stop.
