On I-480 West near West 7th.
The speed limit in this stretch drops to 60 mph. The City of Fairview Park cops man "a detail" to trap out-of-area motorists (like us). We were stopped for allegedly going 75 in the 60 mile zone (not true, we were probably a little over 65 but try arguing with a cop). As soon as he stopped us he first checked the license plates before even talking to us. Then he cut us "a deal"–he ticketed us for a vehicle license violation (we had dealer plate holder that supposedly obstructed the license plate), but not speeding. Fine was $155 (ouch) versus $160 for speeding, but no points on the license. As we pulled away we saw another Fairfield Park cop ticketing another poor soul. Clearly a money-making speed trap! BEWARE!!
