on South Forest Rd., Williamsville, N.Y.,part of Amherst N.Y

The speed limit on South Forest Rd , which is less than a mile long, is 30 MPH and on any nice warm day, especially Sat. or Sun., I see the police pull over at least 10 people.

Williamsville court is loaded with violators, where the judge will reduce the charge to a parking violation so the town doesn’t have to share that much with the state, if you plead not guilty.

The latest amount in fines for a year in Amherst is a record $1.8 Mil.

Comments:
I had the misfortune of being stopped on S Forest almost 3 months ago and the cop clocked me at 45 in a 30 mile zone. I pleaded not guilty and went to court a month later. They had me go to a driver re-evaluation at ECMC instead of a parking ticket probably because I am over 70. I went to ECMC and did well which was 3 weeks ago and cost me $190. I am waiting for when I go back to court for the results etc.
