On the Alberni Hwy below Despard Ave
People come off Hwy 19 and go right on to the Alberni Hwy going into Parksville.The speed is 70 K at that point and right after the railway tracks ( a very short way) it changes to 50K. Most people slow to get over the tracks and speed up again. Don’t do it ! They wait for you around the corner just past Despard, especially at night !
