The name "Speed Trap" infers that it is "entrapment" and the definition of Entrapment is that you would lure someone into doing something that they would NOT normally do and then cite them for it. A policeman sitting along side a road to enforce the speed limits of that town, city or area is NOT entrapment. They are NOT luring anyone to speed. The driver does that on his/her own at the risk of being cited for speeding.
