Ortega Highway east of the 5 freeway
Motorcycle officers are posted on Ortega Hwy. on a regular basis. Generally, they are 1 to 1.5 miles east of the 5 freeway. Usually they are hidden on the right side of the road. With the high school in, be very aware to at least San Antonio. With the Ortega Hwy traffic increasing and the highway expanding, expect periodic traps to at least Casper’s Park.

This Ortega location has been a double fine zone for many years and has recently been changed back to a regular fine schedule. The motorcycle cop is normally there during morning and afternoon rush hours and will get you for anything 4 mph over the speed limit or greater. This police officer is on ocassion siting on side streets as well. Be careful.
