This is no longer a speed trap, never was unless you were going too fast. The speed limit has been raised to 45 from Elizabeth Lake to Cooley Lake with reduced speed during school hours.

Elizabeth Lake Rd and Oxbow Lake Rd. to Cooley lake Rd. area. This is not a constant speed trip. But the police do sit there often. At different times they will sit in the Subdivision's just off Oxbow, near the Elem school. You never know when they will be sitting there. I have lived in this area for over 20 years, and know this for fact. So do the 25 mph speed in this school zone! You never know when one sits there watching!
