Oxford Road NE
The good folks in Druid Hills are tired of speeders so they’re allowing Dekalb County Police to use radar in homeowner’s driveways. This AM, I witnessed a Dekalb County cop pull out of a driveway of a personal residence on Oxford Road NE between The by Way NE and North Decatur Road. The “speeder” could not have been going more than 30-35mph in a 25mph limit street with a hill. Apparently the police claim that they have the right to operate radar equipment in someone’s driveway, assuming they have permission from the homeowner.
