Oxford Street near Gallepagos Street
Since I live closeby and often drive to Santa Fe, I’ve seen these cruisers many times. Westbound on Oxford from Broadway, two wide lanes plus center turn and parking/bicycle lanes invite speeds above the posted 30mph. At the bottom of the grade around the school/pedestrian crossing, there often lurks a (presumably) radar patrol car on the right (north) side. I’ve gone by at 5-6 over, but obviously that grace is up to the officer. I’ve also seen multiple cruisers with some officers standing outside the car and others ready to give chase. I’ve only seen the cars in the AM, but who’s to say what will change?
