Padre Boulevard Boulevard near State Highway 100

South Padre Island, TexasOct 04, 20071 Comments

Traveling on Padre Boulevard is difficult of you are one who spaces out on your speedometer. Law Enforcement officials there will write you up even if you are only 2 to 4 miles per hour over the speed limit. They hide around corners and buildings and target low end speeders every day all day.

Comments:
Set your cruise on 30 as there is no crime on SPI, so they have nothing else to do. Just count on getting popped unless you're a local and there aren't very many of us. We get to do 35 and then get a warning when we stop at the post office. Might not be fair, but that's life and it gets worse during spring break - they bring in extra officers.
