As you go down toward route 9 while on New Hackensack rd. at of hill goes from 45 to 30mph they are there ready with radar gun!

I live in Wappingers Falls. It's a small villag eof about 1.5 square miles and there isn't a Denny's Restaurant within 5-6 miles of here.
The OP is mistaken...it is a Perkins's Restaurant, not a Denny's. However, the speed trap is a favorite of the Wappingers village police.
This is a money making scam. If you ever go to the village court you will see what I mean. All the tickets are made in to parking tickets with a 150 dollar fine. It is very creepy and wrong. Aren't the cops supposed to be keeping us from getting ripped off?
The above comment is correct. This is a scam. I wrote to the editor of the Pk Journal in hopes that they will shed some more light on this shady scam the village has going. Please comment here so word can get out and an end can be put to these unjust practices.
