Pecos Street near Niver Creek Middle School

Federal Heights, ColoradoMar 16, 20061 Comments

A Federal Heaights police officer SItting in an unmarked squad car sits at the end of a row of faculty cars outside the School. Northbound you can see him clearly but southbound is a downhill slope where you must ride your breaks in order to do the manditory crawl of 20mph

Comments:
Yes this is a bit of an odd speed trap, and any other thing the Federal Heights cops can dig up. The school is in Thornton, not Federal Heights, but it's of little concern to these cops. They sit just inside the end of Federal Heights territory and will ticket you for anything. I have never gotten a speeding ticket, but did get a $50 ticket for n tag light. Turns out the Subaru I was driving had a switch I didn't even know about that would if hit wrong turned the tag light off. I felt o much safer knowing that the cops wasted al that time and money for this crap.
