Peninsula State Park
Everywhere in the park. Max speed limit is 25 and 15 is some areas (from ranger station to about 2 miles into the park). Rangers sit in 15 zone and will stop people going 5 over (roads are narrow and have a lot of pedestrian/bike traffic in the summer, so go easy).

This is definately a speed trap. The speed varys from 25 to 15 on Shore road. I have been visiting this park for 30 years and don't know when they dropped the limit to 15 on this stretch. While it is a busy stretch for cars and bikes, 15 seems unreasonably slow. normally there are only 15 limits in school zones and in the actual campgrounds. The DNR is short of funding so they use this speed trap to raise money. Going forward I will visit this park less and spend less there until I get my 200.50 fine back.
