The FORD Plant is not located along Perkins Ave., its on St. Rt. 101 or Tiffin Ave. (Local name of route). The area you are describing is on West Perkins Ave., approx. 1/2 mile west of St. Route 4 (Hayes Ave.-local name). Officers do sit in the parking lot on the south side of the roadway which is a GM bearings plant. This will usually be the Ohio State Highway Patrol, but may also be a local agency known as Perkins Twp. Police.
