The newer Perryville Road extension that leads North from the Riverside Blvd intersection up towards Rt. 173 alongside Rock Cut State Park. It’s a 4 lane highway with a median, and is posted at 45 mph. This seems way too slow, and Northbound it is downhill, so you tend to speed up anyway heading toward the Rt 173 intersection. Sometimes Patrol cars will sit in the Rock Cut entrance “Beaming” Northbound traffic, and other times they are hiding up by Harlem. I have not seen Southbound traffic stopped, but watch out Nothbound..most cars are going at least 10 mph above the posted limit. Good pickings for cops…esp at night.
