Pitts School Road

Harrisburg, North CarolinaJun 19, 20061 Comments

This road has two school zones that are frequently monitored by cops. Be careful to be doing the speed limits during both morning and afternoon school hours. Be extra careful around the afternoon hours because a good friend of mine did get a ticket in this area!

Comments:
As in most if not all school zones in North Carolina the speed limit is 35. This is done to try to protect students who potentially have to cross the road and to protect the persons picking up or dropping off students. Look at the number of accidents in this area. The number may lower due to the speed limit and the number of injuries has definately been reduced.
