Pleasant Hill Road near Acalanes High School
As you get off Hwy 24 going North toward Acalanes High School on Pleasant Hill Road, you must be careful. The Lafayette regularly speed traps late at night, and ALWAYS on early weekend mornings. I got pulled over going 6 miles over at 7 am on a Sunday morning. The cop was unkind, since I had just moved to CA from Philadelphia and I still had a PA drivers license. I fought the ticket and won! I cross examined the cop, and the judge said "enough is enough". It was a bad ticket, misrepresented by the police officer.
