The entire city of Duluth Georgia is a speed trap. The cops are like military police. They have their own citizens (and especially any wayward unaware non-residents) firmly in their scope cross-hairs. I highly recommend avoiding this city at all costs. I make it a point to avoid Duluth.

I will not go close to Duluth are Lawrenceville just because of there speed traps. shop and eat elsewhere.

Duluth is and has been a speed trap and a top source of revenue for the City for many years. They were challenged in court in 1999 due to their ratios, tickets v/s taxes etc, and had to slow down. However, they are at it again. "" More so than tickets,..they have CAMERA'S in areas that are "not" allowed, but no one is talking about that! The previous writer is correct about their attitude,..it is absolutely the worst in the business. I received a ticket in Duluth 13 years ago for not enough tread on one tire, after stopping me for having my bright lights on,..which I did not, and could not find anything else to ticket me for. I asked for a "JURY" trial for this really dumb ticket,..2 weeks later I received a letter dismissing the case. Thanks for much for this site!!
