When you turn onto Pleasant View Rd from FM 439 there is a clear speed limit sign of 45 mph. But as soon as the maintenance of the road changes to Nolanville about half down (the road is only about a mile long), there is a much shorter, recessed speed limit sign (almost hidden by brush) where the limit changes to 30 mph. You would likely not notice this sign unless you were really looking for it and there doesn’t isn’t any apparent reason for the speed limit to change on the short road.
