Fort gordon streets are posted speed limits of 25 mph which means you cannot use a cruise control. They have a school with one sidewalk which has a crossing guard and full signage but the speed limit has been reduced to 15 mph which is extremely hard to maintain. Rumor has it that the mps were complaining about not getting enough training in writting tickets hence the new policy, of note is the speed between the headquarters and senior officer housing, the speed remains 35 mph. It would appear that soldiers are reckless or immature in their driving habits or the post has turned into a money maker for the mps.
