Quaker Road
Unmarked Warren County Sheriff. White Impala. He will be on the opposite side of the road. Needs to be facing car head on to capture registration and inspection bar codes. Impala has 2 black cameras on roof. Also seen by Lowes on Quaker repeatedly driving up and down the road and pulling a U-turn while driving. He does not need to be still.

The Warren County Sheriffs department uses license plate readers all over the county but mainly in Queensbury because that's where the most cars are. The device isn't used for checking speed, it's used to find people who are driving around with suspended registrations or no insurance. It works on cars headed towards or away from the cop's car and works up to 100 mph. They also cruise through parking lots of the local mall and other shopping centers. They cost about $25,000 per unit and pay for themselves in just a few months. Glens Falls PD also has them.
