Radar in Hartsville on State Rd 46

Hartsville, IndianaSep 06, 20101 Comments

I was traveling 55 when I approached Hartsville and noticed a 40 mph speed sign I hit my brakes and entered Hartsville posted at 30 mph. As I was exiting Hartsville, a state trooper ticketed me. He claimed I was going 52 in the 40 mile zone. Unfortunately, I didn’t check my ticket before he hurried away and he specified on the ticket I was traveling 52 in a 30 zone. The officer was a complete jerk! His name was Trooper J. Kevin Riordan badge 4211. This is exactly why I never contribute money to the Indiana state police when they call for donations.

Comments:
Trooper Riordan ticketed me last Friday on I-65 approaching Seymour. He said I was doing 82 (speed limit is 70). I don't know if I was going that fast or not (can't prove that I was or wasn't), but I was most offended by his attitude. I should know better than to go even one mile over the speed limit around Seymour. Drivers beware.
