Motorcycle police sit near the Monte Vista Middle School crossing, waiting for speeders to pass faster than 25 mph. [The sign states "25 mph when children are present."] People are given tickets apparently at the discretion of the police depending whether they think there is even one person walking down the sidewalk, assuming that makes it "when children are present," even after school has long started.
