On Randolph road is a steep downhill grade toward Veirs Mill Rd. If you take your foot off the gas pedal and nothing else you will be well above the 25 mph speed limit before the officer’s step out from behind a car and point some device at you. They occasionally aim at people coming down the hill. Shady trees in the summer make them harder to see. Normally, I shift to a lower gear, as a preference to riding the brakes. They park behind bushes at the bottom of the hill, or a nearby street,such as Collin Drive.
