regional blvd through xna airport

Highfill, ArkansasMar 01, 20012 Comments

this is a wide two lane road through the airport. It only has two little used side roads to provide access to hangers. the first mile or so of the road has a 40mph limit that drops suddenly to 35mph for the next two miles or so. The airport police and the county deputies love it. It is a gold mine for them. The road is wide open and not curvy. It would be perfectly safe to drive 50 mph for its entire length. It is very lightly traveled.

Comments:
It is NOT lightly traveled. There were over one million people that flew into or out of the airport last year. And I do agree that the speed limit might be a tad low, but it is very well posted and there is really no such thing as a "speed trap", as long as the road is properly posted. All you have to do is obey the signs and you won't get a ticket.

It is a speed trap and they also work the window tint law heavy, and the patrol car windows are heavy tinted. All about the almighty dollar at Highfill.
