RESOR Road

Fairfield, OhioJan 07, 20084 Comments

Trap is set at the bottom of thr hill on Reson Rd between Pleasant Ave and Winton Rd. They hide in the park and just waiting for you to come flying down the hill.

Comments:
Resor Road is residential from end to end, so the speed limit is 25 MPH. Just because you want to "come flying down the hill" at 50 or more, that does not make it a speed trap - it makes you a bad driver that deserves a speeding ticket.

It's not a matter of "flying down the hill." The trap is at the bottom of hills on both directions. You have to ride your brakes in both directions to stay "legal."

I didn't realize doing 50 was flying , however , this is definitely a speed trap this Hill with the park at the bottom is very steep and requires braking all the way down . It is very difficult to hold speed to 25 MPH unless you ride the brake very hard , the Fairfield police take advantage of this fact and fill their coffers from the fines to the unsuspected . This residential stretch of road is a main thoroughfare between Pleasant Ave and Winton Rd and should be a minimum of 35 MPH or even 45 MPH . It is so convenient for the Ffld PD there will never be a change of zoning or speed limit change .
