Reynolda Road near Between WFU Entrance and Church Parking Lot

Winston Salem, North CarolinaFeb 26, 20070 Comments

In between WFU entrance and large church parking lot. Motorcycle officers hide behind bushes in the median. Marked patrol cars hide behind the BB&T center sign, in the parking lot of the Lawyer’s office under a tree in a dark corner of the parking lot there. They also hide in a parking space under a tree and beside the row of hedges closest to the road at the church. Enforcement is much worse at night, and they target WFU students, pulling them over right before they enter the gate. General motorists are not immune. Prepare to have your car sniffed by drug dogs, and roadside sobriety checks, even if you are completely sober and clean. Expect to be going 50 in a 35, and the police officer will "be nice" and give you 44 in a 35. Same story, diffrent student, diffrent night.
New years, 4th of July, pledge night, you will get stopped.
They have even pulled over busses coming back from fraternity parties. They breathalize everyone under 21 and write underage consumption to everyone above .00, because under the new NC general statue they are allowed to without reasonable suspicion.
