River Road near State Route 17
30 mph posted. Road is a straight run for about 1/2 mi. You must almost ride your brake to stay within the limit. Local police hide in side street or by the sewer treatment facility.

I was ticketed for speeding when I turned off 17M to a side street in Harriman. The village cop told me all streets in village are 25 miles per hour!! One feels like he/she could walk faster. Cop said I could plead not guilty (by return mail) and show up in court on the appointed day (months later)
and pay a $70 fine with offense being reduced to illegal parking (no points on licence).
