Riverside Boulevard and Main Street
N. Main St. in Rockford, IL, is one bad speed trap. This is a main road into and out of town on the north side. There is a major interscetion (Riverside Blvd) where they sit on the north bound lanes with one police car shooting radar.

Seriously, a "Speed Trap". If you are exceeding the posted speed limit and the police catch you on radar...how is that a "Trap". Did they make you speed in the particular area they were running radar? I've never understood the term "Speed Trap" They aren't trapping you. You are simply breaking the law by exceeding the speed limit and you got caught!! Again, please someone explain how that is a "Speed Trap". Hey how about taking some responsibilty for your own actions?
