Anytime you travel Fort Irwin road from Barstow at peak hours you should watch out for CHP along the side of the road before you go over Jackhammer Pass. When you hit the Fort Irwin Reservation boundary (Note the big sign) slow down to 55 or the MP’s WILL get you.
