A real trap.. the CHP enforces traffic in this un-incorporated town. One particular officer sits near the high school and LOVES to get people that are "exceeding" the prima facia speedlimit (he uses radar). This school zone is posted at "25 Miles Per Hour when Children are Present". Normal posted limit is 45mph. The officer uses this law 22350CVC to pull folks over and sight them for both the speed infraction and seatbelt violation. I have learned from other sources that this particular officer writes MANY more seatbelt tickets than anyone else in his division.

Go the speed limit, especially when children are around regardless if it's a school zone and wear your seatbelt always. You break the law, regardless if you think it's a good law or not, you need to accept the consequences. Don't want a ticket, don't break the law. That's pretty simple.
