Roscoe Boulevard near Woodlake Avenue

West Hills, CaliforniaJul 21, 20070 Comments

Roscoe Blvd changes from a very-wide 4 lane road (plus 1 center lane and 2 parking lanes) to a very-narrow 2 lane road (plus 1 parking lane) immediately after Woodlake. It’s a perfect spot for trapping. Speed limit jumps down to 35MPH very quickly. Two motorcycle cops will always be positioned directly off Hillary Street aiming radar guns towards the East waiting for unsuspecting drivers traveling West. You won’t see the 35MPH signs until you crest the hill at Woodlake and if you don’t slow down immediately – it’s too late. The trap is set at least 3-4 days of the week during evening rush hour and in some cases during the day.
