Law enforcement of ALL stripes–State Police, County Sheriff, and Copake Town Police—nestle in a low area on the west side of a large barn where they are well hidden by a small grassy knoll. They also park in the front of the barn where they are hidden by a part of the barn that projects outward. This has become a popular site since the new school opened in the fall of 1999 and the speed limit there was dropped to 45.
