Route 38 at the Rochelle Hospital Ashton Extension building
Travelling westbound it is the last building in Ashton to the right. The officer will sit in the parking lot, typically at night. Sometimes it is impossible to see him going westbound, but is generally relatively visible from eastbound. On occasion, the officer will park on the eastbound side of the road instead of in the parking lot. The speed limit is 35.

This is simply good law enforcement. the description fails to note that the local high school is directly across the street from the Extension building. Also, this is not the only place they set up radar so they are not running a trap.
