Route 58, East – west highway, southern Virgina
Speed limit changes abruptly from 55 to 45 and back again along a long stretch of this road. Police wait to ticket motorists who do not slow down in time. Have gotten 2 tickets past 2 years; one for going 11 mi/hr over 45, the other for going 14 mi/hr over the speed limit while passing a slower vehicle. If you get ticketed you will shortly begin receiving follow-up letters from a dozen lawyers offering to reduce your points for a fee – coincidence?
